I develop custom WordPress themes – fast, clear and without unnecessary fuss. I love working with agencies and businesses that care about performance. And because I used to be a project manager at a translation agency, I bring a little extra superpower with me: a network of excellent translators. Perfect if your website should not only look good, but also be ready for international audiences.
* And in case you’re wondering where ALPI comes from: it’s a little play on my name – the first two letters of my first name and the first and third letter of my surname.
My path into development
Language meets technology
My professional path started with language. I completed a master’s degree in translation and developed an early interest in multilingual websites and digital communication.
Technology always fascinated me along the way. In 2023, I completed the WIFI web developer course and worked with JavaScript in a conscious, hands-on way for the first time. The moment the code actually worked, I felt a little like Dumbledore.
That feeling never left me. So I also started an extension programme in computer science, which I am currently completing.
Today, I combine a feel for language, structured thinking and technical know-how in my work as a developer.
I think in modules
For me, sustainable WordPress development starts with one clear principle: I think in modules. Instead of building large templates that are hard to maintain, I develop every element of a theme as an independent, reusable module.

I know how frustrating it is when websites load slowly, are technically unstable or feel like page-builder systems that nobody really understands. That is exactly why I build my projects from the ground up with a clear plan.
My goal is to give businesses a website with a clean technical foundation, long-term maintainability and measurable results. No gimmicks. No unnecessary plugins. Just clear architecture, performance and structure.

You may have already spotted the little white dog.
That is Perla. Or rather: that was her. My dog, my loyal companion. On 9 October 2025, she crossed the rainbow bridge, and I have missed her every day since.
I still wanted to give her a place on my website. She was an important part of my life and brought me so much joy. Maybe the illustration, which describes and shows her so well, will bring a little smile to your face too.
